Brochure Module: Page Titles + Footers

Every page in the Brochure Builder comes with a Page Title module and a Footer module by default. Both are fully customizable, and once you have them styled the way you want, you can push that style across the entire brochure. This article covers the options for each, plus a few best practices for keeping pages clean and aligned.

Page Title Module

The page title behaves like a rich text module, with one addition: an overline option above the main title.

Removing it: if a page doesn't need a title, click the three dots and delete the module. Same for the footer.

Text options

By default the title uses your brand's header font. You can override any of it.

Background and border

  • Background: solid or gradient, with opacity control

  • Border: color, radius, and which sides it applies to (top only, all sides, and so on)

Layout options

  • Vertical alignment: top, center, or bottom within the module

  • Horizontal alignment: left, center, or right

  • Width and height: set with the controls or by dragging the module

  • Horizontal and vertical padding

Using the overline

Turn on the overline to build a two part title. A common setup:

  • Overline: the section name (for example, "Property")

  • Title: the page name (for example, "Executive Summary")

Global vs. selected text

  • Click the module without selecting text and you're editing Page Title Styles, which applies to everything in the module.

  • Highlight part of the text and you get Selected Text options for just that portion.

This is how you build a two color title, put the overline in your secondary brand color, or mix two font weights in a single header.

Two Column Pages

A common layout is text on one side and a photo on the other. To make the title work in that setup:

  1. Size the page title module so it spans only its half of the page.

  2. Set horizontal padding (20 or 40 works well) so the text isn't flush to the edge.

  3. Set horizontal alignment to center if you want it centered within that half.

Note: there can only be one page title module per page. If you need a second header on the same page, add a text module and style it to match.

Footer Module

The footer is included on every page by default. It usually carries your company logo on the left, and the deal name plus automated page number on the right.

Applying Styles Brochure Wide

This is the part that saves the most time. Once your footer looks exactly right on one page:

  • Set as brochure wide styles: applies that footer styling to every page in the brochure.

  • Use footer text throughout brochure: pushes the content itself (legal text, address, deal name) into every footer.

  • Revert to brochure style: undoes page level changes and returns to the brochure default.

These same brochure wide and revert controls apply to other modules that appear on every page, including the page title.

Best Practices

Align the footer with the title. If your footer sits at a certain left position, set the page title to the same left alignment. Lining these up is the single easiest way to make a page look finished.

Invert colors on dark backgrounds. When the footer sits over a photo or a dark panel:

  • Switch footer text to white

  • Switch the logo to the white version

  • Consider the square page number style with a background color so the number stays readable

Check contrast on split pages. With a photo covering half the page, the footer often crosses both light and dark areas. Adjust text color and page number style so it reads on both sides.
