Outlines are a key feature of the new Brochure Builder in IntellCRE. An Outline is a reusable set of pages, organized into sections, that you can apply whenever you start a new brochure version. Instead of assembling a brochure page by page each time, you build the structure once and load it on demand.
This article covers where to find outlines, how to create and customize one, and how to apply a saved outline to a property.
Outline Overview
An Outline in IntellCRE is a template of a combination of pages assembled into sections. Those pages can be a mix of:
System default pages (for example, a cover page or table of contents), and
Fully custom Saved Pages you've created in the system.
When you apply an outline to a property, the Brochure Builder loads that structure and automatically pulls in the property's data—photos, table of contents, contents, and the data on each page.
Before you start: Saved Pages
If you want an outline to include your custom pages, the prerequisite is that those pages already exist in Saved Pages. Create or save the pages you need first, then build the outline using them. An outline references saved pages; it can't include a custom page that hasn't been saved yet.
Managing Outlines
Outlines live in the platform settings.
Open Settings.
Under Brochures, you'll see Outlines.
Click Outlines to see a list of all the outlines you've saved or create a new Outline.
Create a New Outline
In Settings → Outlines, click New Outline.
Give the outline a name (for example, "My OM Outline 2026").
Choose a layout, such as single-page view.
Pick a starter outline. You can select Full as a default—the starter doesn't lock you in, because you can fully customize the outline afterward.
You can also group outlines into folders, the same way you organize saved pages and template pages.
Once created, the outline appears on the right, showing its sections—for example: Intro, Asset, Tenant Overview, Sales Comps, Rent Comps, Market Overview, Advisory Bios, Outro.
Customize the Outline
Everything in the outline is editable, so you can shape it around what each type of brochure needs.
Remove a section:
For example, if you don't need the Tenant Overview section, remove it.
Add a new section:
Click Add Section (available at the bottom or inline), then name it—for example, "Executive Summary."
Add pages to a section:
Within a section, click the three-dot menu and choose Add New Page, or add a page directly from the section. The page you add can be either a system default page (like a cell map) or any page from your Saved Pages.
For an Executive Summary section, you'd typically add your saved executive summary page.
Reposition sections and pages:
Drag a section or page to the position you want. For example, place the Executive Summary section right after the Intro so it appears just after the table of contents.
Your changes are autosaved—when you're happy with the outline, you can simply leave the screen.
Apply an Outline to a Property
Go to Properties and open (or create) a property/deal.
Open Brochures and create a New Brochure Version using the new Brochure Builder.
On the setup screen, find the Outline option.
Choose either a system default outline or one of the Outlines you've preset in Settings (for example, "OM Outline 2").
The builder initiates and loads the outline you saved. As it loads, it pulls in the property's data automatically: the cover page fills with the property's main photo, the table of contents populates with the data and contents, and each section—like your Executive Summary and Asset pages—loads with the data from that deal.
Your entire outline loads from the saved version, ready to review and finish.
Tip: Moving from the Legacy Brochure Builder
If you're still working in the older builder, we recommend migrating your workflow to the New Brochure Builder—it offers more customization and produces higher-quality assets. We're happy to help you move over:
Saved Pages: we can migrate your saved pages from the old builder into Saved Pages in the new builder.
Outlines: we can recreate your existing outlines (for example, a BOV outline or a premium OM outline) in the new builder so you can load and reuse them.

We're building features to further automate this workflow. Upcoming capabilities include creating a custom page with a specific module, then linking that module to data in your data room. The goal is a system that not only loads your preferred outline—with your design and branding—but also automatically funnels the right data (photos, table data, text, numbers, and more) into the correct place in the brochure.
